Bromius’ “Song of Wastes" out now!
A taste of Preludes 11 is here: one of the songs from the Waste Bear encounter, Song of Wastes, is now live with a visualizer on YouTube! This theme accompanies the fight against the Corrupted Bromius deep in the Neath’uns.
And yes: Song of Growth (heard at the end of the TennoCon demo) is also on the way! Both Song of Wastes and Song of Growth will be available on streaming platforms when Preludes 11 launches.
This includes:
- Spotify
- Apple Music
- Youtube Music
- And more!

Do you hear that? Envoys can expect to hear improved melee weapon sounds coming soon
Concept Art

Preludes 11 Gameplay and Discussion
This Devstream showcased gameplay and discussion around what's arriving with Preludes 11, including weapons, armour, and Bromius' Pact.
New Starting Armour Sets
Each Virtue (Grace, Courage, Spirit) will receive new starting gear, as demonstrated on stream!
Mockery Weapons and New Mockery Enemies
A variety of Mockery-styled weapons were shown off: the Mockery Nurash, the Mockery Stultin, and the Mockery Turash.
And if you seek to borrow the guise of Mockery foes, we have some Mockery armour in development as well!
New armored Mockery enemies, are also in development!
Fey Weapons
Joining the arsenal, we have some new Fey weapons including the Dewilion, featuring a unique heavy attack animation. Not every weapon will feature unique animations, but where fitting, movesets will adapt to the weapon’s form.
By the hip, too, was Witan, which you saw on Devstream 8!
Greatswords were also mentioned to be in the works!
Bromius Equipment
We shared a look at the upcoming Arbearer armour set and his accompanying cleaver, the Marrow's Bane.
Bromius' Pact has three new Arcanics, stirring memories of how Bromius fought in his Corrupted form as the Waste Bear!
Armour Customization
Verminia's colour dye system will emphasize shades over rigid swatches, offering a more nuanced approach to colour customization. Steve spoke about it here.
Armour transmogrification will also arrive through Tuvalkane's reforging. We spoke about the work-in-progess plans here.
Arsenal, Nightfold Changes and New Combat Mechanics
Entering the Nightfold now requires a hold prompt—no more misinputs transporting you into the Nightfold without you asking. Arsenal UI has been updated to allow players to better see what they own (or not own!)
For those keeping a close eye, you might notice that Melee weapons have acquired a new mechanic: Health Regain (proper name pending)! When you take damage, you’ll have a short window to strike back and re-acquire any lost health.
Enemy and boss density around Midrath’s points of interest is also being adjusted, with encounters like the Mother Reaver sinkhole teased.
Movement and Mobility
We revealed a few work-in-progress animations regarding vaulting, mantling and swimming animations to help Envoys move around more adequately in the land of Midrath!
Difficulty Discussions
Difficulty tuning continues, with early-game encounters becoming more challenging to leave space for future upgrades and progression systems. We had more to say on that here.
Thanks for joining us, Envoys! Stay tuned for more updates as Preludes 11 draws near, and join us for our first Envoy Hour on September 23rd from 4-5 p.m. ET!
