Preludes 13 has arrived, and with it, significant changes appear on the isle of Midrath. Envoys now channel their Virtues into Prisms to embody their chosen archetype, poisonous clouds spew from The Organ's corrupting lungs, and a Vadagar Bear stalks Midrath by moonlight.

Virtues Rework
Gleam'd in Alca's seam'd night find Virtues bright upon Ode'n fright.
So far in Preludes, you've leveled Pacts to earn points you could allocate into the Virtue of your choice.
In Preludes 13, no longer will you manually spend points to bolster a chosen Virtue. Instead, you will equip one of 12 new Virtue Prisms, which automatically distribute your stats across all three Virtues. If a bellowing and bullheaded warrior is the path you seek, equip a Prism that boosts your Courage at the expense of lower Spirit and Grace.
With this change, you will also notice that scaling and attunement has been adjusted. Courage is the main Virtue for health scaling, Spirit for magick damage, and Grace for stability and critical hits.
We've also added attunement to Armour that will boost defensive stats depending on the attuned Virtue. For example, Wyld Oscelda armour is attuned to Spirit, which will boost the Physical and Magick Defense according to your Spirit Virtue.
New Faction Tale Event: The Organ
The Organ: a massive polluter machine built upon a Dendrit tower. Overseen by Medis Gyon, plague doctor of the stars, The Organ corrupts the very air to make environs more tolerable to the Ode.
You must destroy Medis Gyon's machinations as a new objective within Faction Tales, stopping its flow of deadly Ichor and billowing smoke.
Vadagar Bear
A new corrupted beast stalks Midrath beneath moonlit skies. The Vadagar Bear emerges from the Ichor, reborn as an Agari!
Adapted for open-world encounters, this form brings a brutal, untamed presence to the island.
New Customization Options
Visit Verminia in the Nightfold to refine your appearance with new hairstyles and facial features, as well as customize your hair colour!
Your choices during the Warsongs Prologue will decide your starting visage, but further customization can be done at Verminia's station, once you have followed her poppets by completing The Brewer of Hues.
