Crafting Changes

  • Fragment requirements for Recipes are now standardized:
    • Common: 1 Fragment
    • Uncommon: 2 Fragments
    • Rare: 3 Fragments
  • All Recipes have been rebalanced based on the amount of Fragments required (rarer Recipes now require fewer additional materials to craft).
  • Common and Uncommon Recipes no longer require Joinery to forge. Joinery is now only needed when Reforging for these Recipes. Note: NEW Joineries will be introduced in a future update.

Sparrow/Faction Tale Changes

  • Sparrow's Tales will now be abandoned if Envoy has left the area and will reappear at a future location.
  • Accepting one Sparrow's Tale no longer removes the others. Unaccepted Tales will now be hidden and reappear after you complete or abandon the accepted Tale.
  • Single-task Tales no longer contain dungeons.
  • Ode dogs have been replaced by corrupted slugs in some Tale tasks.
  • Adjusted some Tale tasks to improve completion timing, variety, and consistency.

General Changes and Additions

  • Added a new, expanded Pact selection UI screen in Nightfold.

  • Added a "Manage Weapons" section to Nightfold, allowing Envoys to purchase Pact and Weapon slots or sell weapons. Note: Current Envoys will receive 50 premium currency directly into their account as we test this.

  • Added HUD UI for Virtue stat boosts from music shrines to better show duration.

  • Added location markers of party members to compass.
  • Added improvements to World Tree UI, including an updated Report popout menu.
  • Continued loot rebalancing and adjusted drop sources, including adding Precklies Fragments to more Ode enemy drops.
  • Improved compass icon UI scaling and reliability.
  • Decreased Health Elixir drop chance slightly.
  • Removed decorative quill that was causing confusion during The Last Pensive.
  • Added door locking after retrieving the Totem during The Torment Stag to prevent backtracking.
  • Improved the Fire King Fenn Jotar tutorial in The Torment Stag by repositioning Fenn Jotar for visibility. Added a hint for Envoys who missed it.
  • Updated a puzzle during The Torment Stag.

Fixes

  • Fixed starting weapons Wulder and Gwylen taking time to reforge.
  • Fixed a coffin in the Crypt being unlootable if Circade Armor failed to appear during the Festival of the Circade. Note: This is a potential fix for those affected.
  • Fixed the Triune Talisman Totem only granting one Virtue stat bonus instead of all three.
  • Fixed entering Nightfold while on an elevator in the Crypt sometimes causing players to return stuck at the bottom of the elevator.
  • Fixed engaging in combat with Mockeries sometimes blocking Faction Tale completion.
  • Fixed intel sometimes disappearing during the "Purloined Parchment" Faction Tale objective, preventing progression.
  • Fixed Faction Tale map UI remaining visible on the map and compass while another Tale is active.
  • Fixed Bannerett sometimes failing to spawn in the Undercity during Faction Tales.
  • Fixed corrupted slugs spawning unintentionally on the way to the boss fight during The Torment Stag.
  • Fixed Garren Rood sometimes freezing and not fighting back during The Torment Stag boss fight.
  • Fixed missing Memories of Warsongs shrines.
  • Fixed missing Curiass and double Helms sometimes appearing after replaying Warsongs.
  • Fixed Verminia not appearing in the Nightfold if players left without speaking to her after first meeting her during the Brewer of Hues.
  • Fixed Juniper Fragments sometimes failing to drop. Note: This is a potential fix for those affected.
  • Fixed Orengall's finisher animation sometimes not playing correctly while using the Orengall Pact.
  • Fixed Orengall Pact's Werewalker form sometimes causing intel to disappear during Faction Tales.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed Sirin Pact Arcanics to be cast endlessly while using a bow.
  • Fixed players using a controller sometimes opening the main menu while viewing World Tree notes in the Nightfold.
  • Fixed being able to enter Nightfold during the "Choose Your Pact" introduction as it could break controls.
  • Fixed Virtue stat UI showing a Defense header and added a "+" to Virtue bonuses for clarity.
  • Fixed pickup progress UI lingering when opening the arsenal screen in the Nightfold.
  • Fixed Mockery sound effects sometimes continuing to play after death.
  • Fixed a visual bug where Sidearm throwing knives could appear stuck in a spinning orbit for clients in multiplayer.
  • Fixed Sidearms not being automatically sheathed during cinematics.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed some chests to be reopened by leaving and re-entering the area.
  • Fixed missing VFX when performing heavy attacks with certain weapons (Wulder, Vetch, Nettle, Virdigris, Grinn).
  • Fixed visual popping when moving while aiming.
  • Fixed enemy AI occasionally restarting weapon equip animation.
  • Fixed Ode shield enemies sometimes not attacking the Envoy.
  • Fixed clients not seeing Ode dog helmets come off after defeat.
  • Fixed a crash caused by World Tree notes.
  • Fixed a crash caused by Will-o-wings looting during host migration.
  • Fixed crashes which could occur when completing Faction Tales.
  • Fixed a crash which could occur during combat.
  • Fixed crashes which could occur while fighting the Mendicant King.
  • Fixed crashes during The Torment Stag.
  • Fixed crashes caused by VFX.
  • Fixed script errors.
